In this workshop you will learn basic photography skills to help make your photos pop. We will use the Tisch Photography Kit which has a Sony a6600 mirrorless camera and Adobe Lightroom but skills are translatable to other cameras and software. We will cover basic media management, composition strategies and basic editing techniques. We hope by the end of this workshop you will feel empowered to check out media equipment and know more about resources available to support you during your next project.
This page describes a time-sensitive change to Tisch Library’s streaming video on reserves service; these changes will go into effect for the fall 2023 semester. We need to make this change in order to comply with common copyright practices at academic institutions.
Please join us for the opening of the exhibition, "Ukraine: Connected Histories & Vibrant Cultures" at Tisch Library on March 6, 2023 at 5 PM. Open to the public.

Notetaking is an essential part of the research process, but it isnt always clear how to take notes: What should I write down? How much should I write down? How should I organize my notes? How do I move from a collection of notes to a research paper? This workshop will cover best practices in note taking. It will also introduce a few different tools and apps for storing and organizing your notes.
