Managing your Digital Stuff

We all have digital stuff - documents we are working on, projects that have data or images, or just personal photos. In this workshop we will go over some tips for making sure that you can find your stuff when you need it, good practices for documenting your work so that you can go back later and know what you did, and the tools that are available to help you along the way.

Exploring Conference Poster Formats

An interactive session on elements and principles of poster design. We'll be looking at different formats and the reasons you might chose one or the other, from the standard paper-on-a-page to emerging formats including visual abstracts that focus on networking or quickly spreading ideas. This session will focus on design strategies for scientific conference posters, but these strategies are applicable for other disciplines as well.

2022 Juneteenth Observance at Tufts

As President Monaco shared with the Tufts community on June 6th, this year marks Tufts' third observance of Juneteenth.  Staff across the Tufts libraries have brought together information (yes, mostly books, but also some audio and video sources) to situate the historical context of the first Juneteenth celebrations, works by this year's keynote speaker Dr. Jelani Cobb (bio), and some key works of anti-racist theory.
