Course description
Artists' books really do come in all shapes and sizes! Join Darin Murphy for a discussion of these wonderfully unique art objects and the many material, formal, and technical elements that go into their creation.
The event will take place in Tisch Library Room 103 on Saturday, October 22nd from 12:00-12:45 pm.
Undergrads, are you working on a research assignment this fall? Don’t go it alone! Join us in Tisch Library for a 2 hour session dedicated to working on your paper. There will be StAAR Center writing consultants available to help with the writing process, a Tisch librarian available to help with research, and other undergrads working through the research paper process alongside you! Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Undergrads, join SMFA Research & Instruction Librarian Carrie Salazar and Tisch Student Success Librarian Joanna Gray for an Art Research workshop! Through an exploration of resources from the SMFA Library collection, we will learn about and discuss the process of art research. Attendees will also consider possible avenues of research to explore while creating their own art, including materials, process, and content.

Join Tisch librarians for a quick 45 minute workshop where we will share strategies and resources to help you narrow your topic to a level appropriate for your assignment. Subject librarians from the humanities, social sciences, and sciences will be available to provide discipline specific recommendations. Snacks will be provided!

They are designed for intuitive use, ease of search, copying and versioning. They support collaboration with many users and includes access controls. In this workshop you will be provided an overview of the LabArchives Digital Research Notebooks.
