Sorting returned materials so that they go to their proper location and shelving those materials; searching for requested items and placing them on hold; routing items in from other locations; routing items out to Interlibrary Loan; other special processing. Data Entry Operator responsibilities include collecting and entering data in Microsoft Excel and maintaining a clean and accurate spreadsheet. Our ideal candidate has essential data entry skills, like an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms. You will report to Library Assistants at the beginning and end of every shift and note any problems or discrepancies that occur.
