Year-long lockers
*Note: Level G year-long locker applications are closed at this time, as all are assigned for AY25-26.
Current Tufts students, staff, and faculty may instead apply for a Level G locker for use during the academic year. Please note that due to limited availability, lockers will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Locker applications will open the first day of Fall classes. Lockers need to be emptied once a year, by the last day of exams at the end of the summer term.
To apply:
- Fill out and submit the Locker Application Form.
- After you have filled out the application form, you will receive an email from tischfrontline@tufts.edu with your locker assignment, combination, and policy information within 72 hours.
Locker policies
- Each locker is equipped with a combination lock. Please do not use your own.
- Storing perishable items (food, drink, etc.) in lockers is not allowed.
- All library materials stored in lockers must be checked out.
- Lockers are for short-term, 24-hour use, lockers will be cleaned out regularly and any nonperishable items will be put into Lost and Found.
- Lockers are assigned to individuals, not to student clubs/groups.
- Items left in lockers after the last day of exams at the end of the summer term will be removed and discarded.
Suspensions of locker access and damages to lockers
The library reserves the right to suspend student locker privileges if students disregard the locker policy. Suspension of privileges will be immediate and will not be reinstated.
Users are responsible for the cost of repairing damaged lockers.
