Notetaking is an essential part of the research process, but it isnt always clear how to take notes: What should I write down? How much should I write down? How should I organize my notes? How do I move from a collection of notes to a research paper? This workshop will cover best practices in note taking. It will also introduce a few different tools and apps for storing and organizing your notes.

Artists' books really do come in all shapes and sizes! Join Darin Murphy for a discussion of these wonderfully unique art objects and the many material, formal, and technical elements that go into their creation.

Undergrads, are you working on a research assignment this fall? Don’t go it alone! Join us in Tisch Library for a 2 hour session dedicated to working on your paper. There will be StAAR Center writing consultants available to help with the writing process, a Tisch librarian available to help with research, and other undergrads working through the research paper process alongside you!
