Save the date for our first Digital Scholarship Spring Showcase on April 16, 2026 at Tisch Library.

Join us to hear from faculty, students, and library/research/technology staff who will share examples and approaches from their own teaching research, or projects that incorporate digital scholarship approaches and methods (including but not limited to: digital humanities, digital storytelling, data visualization, applications of AI or machine-learning, etc.).

Showcase schedule: 

Get one-on-one help using Git to track file versions and code. Come by for office hours-style help with installing Git, creating a repository, tracking changes, and writing commit messages.

Attending the previous File Management & Git workshop on Feb. 11 is recommended, but not required. 

Please bring a laptop.

Douglass Day is an annual program that marks the birth of Frederick Douglass, a leader in the American 19th century abolitionist movement. Join us in person on Friday, February 13, 2026 for a transcribe-a-thon to help create new & freely available resources for learning about Black history. This year we will transcribe content from the Colored Conventions Project, improving search, access, and discovery of these pages from history.

Join us in the Digital Design Studio any time from 3-4pm for DH Drop-in hours, an informal time for working and learning about digital humanities together. Kaylen Dwyer will be available to answer questions, assist with technical issues, brainstorm, and have a conversation about using digital humanities in your work.
