Tisch Library Open Access Publishing Fund
We have a fund to help pay article processing charges (APCs) to publish in open access journals or books.
Support for open access initiatives
Tufts Libraries have memberships to some journals and publishers to receive free or discounted APCs for Tufts authors, including Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), BioMed Central, Royal Society journals, and Springer Open journals.
Our investments in open access content, infrastructure, and advocacy organizations are guided by the Criteria for Tufts Libraries Open Access Investments.
Repositories & publishing platforms
We can help find a place to share your scholarship, including repositories and publishing platforms. Visit the Sharing your work section of our Scholarly publishing guide to find out more about tools that you have access to, either through Tufts or through free online accounts.
We also offer a service to assign DOIs to scholarly material created by the Tufts community that is not assigned a DOI elsewhere by a publisher (for example, reports published by Tufts research groups). Find out more about eligible material and how to request a DOI.
Preserve your digital publishing project
Tisch has a Scholarly digital publishing projects collection as part of its web archiving program. The collection preserves copies of websites created by Tufts authors that make available original research, digital tools, educational objects, or other content that isn’t available in another form. If you have a digital publishing project that you'd like archived in our collection, please get in touch.

We can offer custom workshops about publishing & sharing scholarship tailored to a class assignment, or to the disciplinary publishing landscape for your particular department, lab, or organization.
