Printers, scanners, and copiers

Printers and copiers

For information on printing cost and additional assistance, please visit the JumboPrint page.

At Tisch Library

You can find self-service printers (color and black & white) on Level 2 (the main level) and on Level 1 at the base of the main stairwell.

You can find two self-service copiers (black & white) on Level 2 inside the Lockers, Copiers and Scanning Stations Room, which is located adjacent to the Tufts Technology Services (TTS) Information Desk in the main lobby of Tisch Library.

At Lilly Music Library

Lilly has one self-service copier (in the stacks room) and one black & white printer (adjacent to the Information Desk).

Payment

All printers and copiers accept JumboCash.

If you don’t have JumboCash or are not a member of the Tufts community, you can purchase a guest print card at the JumboCash machine in the Lockers, Copiers & Scanning Stations Room adjacent to the TTS Information Desk in the Tisch Library main lobby. The JumboCash machine only accepts cash.

Insert a $1 bill into the machine to purchase and print a guest card. Insert additional cash to add funds to the card. Please bring singles, as the JumboCash machine does not dispense change. There is no place in the library to get change.

How to print

For instructions on printing from library computer stations, laptops, and smart phones, visit our page on how to print.

Scanners

If you are looking for digitization services for scholarly material needed for teaching or research, visit our page on Digitization

Scanning is free! Scans can be saved as PDF, Word, JPEG, or HTML files. You can email scanned files to yourself, or upload files to a USB drive or Google Drive.

You can find two self-service scanners on Level 2 of Tisch Library near the Information Desk in the main lobby, and one on Level 1 at the base of the main stairwell. You can also find a scanner at Lilly Music Library.

Payment

While scanning is free, you do have to pay for printing (using JumboCash) if you would like to print what you scanned. Additionally, at Tisch Library, you can scan files and print them from the color printer as an alternative to color copying.
