Self-checkout

At all Tufts libraries, you can check out items by bringing the book or media that you want to the front desk. Some of our libraries also feature self-checkout stations as an alternative. We also have a mobile app which can be used to remotely check out items.

Self-checkout stations

Self-checkout stations are located next to the Technology Services Desk on Level 2 of the Tisch Library, as well as by the Information Desk at the Lilly Music Library.

Using self-checkout stations

  1. Press the yellow START button on the kiosk screen.
  2. Scan the Tufts University Libraries barcode on the front of your Tufts ID or sign in using your Tufts username and password.
