The Access Services unit provides public-facing support to the Tisch Library community. We connect library patrons to resources, assisting them in their use of Tisch’s facilities, materials, and services. Access Services strives to make the library user’s experience positive, seamless, and rewarding. Our responsibilities include circulation, stacks management, course reserves and streaming media, interlibrary loan, and public service. We work extensively with other departments both inside and outside of the libraries to ensure smooth services for the Tufts community, such as the Tisch Director’s Office for building management and Tufts Technology Services. Fun fact: Access Services student employees, whom we love and rely on to provide daily services, are the largest group of student employees in the libraries!
