This typewriter is a 1972 Smith Corona 'Galaxie 12 XII' manual typewriter in two-tone sky blue and Robin's egg shell blue, accented by black trim, gives it a very eye-catching and prototypical 70's 'mod' look. The Galaxie XII is one of the most solid typing machines ever produced--exact imprint, solid keystroke with excellent feel makes it ideal for serious typing. The new ribbon types precise & bold. The Galaxie also has some very advanced features that enhance the typist's experience such as a 'Power Space' bar for fast and accurate advance of individual spaces; Half-Space Key, and a large tabulator bar placed conveniently above the keyboard. It comes in a black case and weighs approximately 21lbs.
