Interlibrary Loan

What is Interlibrary Loan?

Interlibrary Loan gets you books, articles & more from other libraries. This service allows Tisch library users to request library materials from libraries around the world.

How does it work?

If you find an item that you need and it's not available at Tufts, you can submit a request to have the item sent to you. Log into our Interlibrary Loan application, ILLiad and fill out the appropriate request form. Submit your request and we'll take it from there!

What is Scan and Deliver?

Scan & Deliver is a service where Tisch, Lilly Music Library, and the SMFA Library will copy book chapters or articles from items in the Tisch collection, scan them into PDFs and deliver them to your ILLiad account. Read more about Scan & Deliver here.

What is BLC WorldCat?

WorldCat can see what's in every library and request materials be delivered to Tisch for you. Click on BLC WorldCat under the JumboSearch box on our homepage to search WorldCat. Read more about the BLC here.
