Dance Your Research: Intro to Video Production

Want to make a video for the "Dance your Research" project but unsure how to start, where to get support, or need access to equipment and software? The Tisch Library Digital Design Studio (DDS) is pleased to support this joint venture between SoE and the Dance Program with a workshop on video production, aimed at helping engineers and other researchers get started with using film media for storytelling about their research projects.

Can't make the workshop? Or want to get an earlier start? Reach out to tischdds@tufts.edu to set up a consultation!

Video equipment can be checked out from the Tisch Library main service desk, and video editing software is available in the DDS all hours the library is open.

About the Dance Your Research project

Tufts A&S Dance Program and SOE are launching the "Dance your Research" project. Inspired by Dance Your PhD, all students engaged in research are invited to showcase their work through a 2-5 minute video performance, using movement, costume, and film to interpret research concepts. All submissions will be featured during Engineers Week, with the top three winners receiving prizes of $150, $100, and $50. For inquiries and submissions, please reach out to Hollyjean.Stone@tufts.edu by February 15. Learn more about Dance Your PhD.
