As an Affiliate scholar, you have full access to the collections and services of Tisch Library and its branches. Before you gain access to Tisch Library, you will have to register with us.
Register as an Affiliate
- Complete the Affiliate scholar form (please note that you will need a signature from the department head or program administrator).
Document
- Submit the application in person at the Information and Circulation Desk at Tisch Library, or email the completed and signed form to Tisch Library’s Access Services Department.
Once you are registered, you will receive a confirmation email.
Using the library
As an Affiliate scholar, you have full access to the collections and services of Tisch Library and its branches.
Borrowing materials
As an affiliate, you can check out books and scores for 90 days, with the option to renew up to 18 months. DVDs and CDs can be borrowed for 14 days with renewals up to 1 month.
You are responsible for any items checked out using your library account; it is not recommended that you check out materials on someone else's behalf. We are happy to hold items for up to 48 hours if you need to come back with an ID.
Interlibrary loan
You may request items via Interlibrary loan. Registering for an Interlibrary loan account is different for visiting scholars. Please contact our Interlibrary Loan team for information on how to register for your ILLiad account.
Database access
You will have access to the same online resources as Tufts faculty and students. Please contact our Access Services for information on how to register for e-resource access as an affiliate.
