Changes to the Print Journals Collection on Level G

Posted: Tue, Oct 7th 2025

We’re reducing the size of our print journal collection on Level G. Most users now access journal articles online, so we’re making space by removing lesser-used print volumes.

Accessing Articles You’ll still have access to thousands of journals through our electronic subscriptions and interlibrary loan services. If you need an article we don’t have on-site, we can usually get a PDF for you quickly.

Preserving Print for the Long Term Tufts is part of two shared print networks—EAST and HathiTrust—that help libraries across North America preserve print journal titles. Through these partnerships, we’re contributing to long-term access and preservation.

What’s Staying We’re keeping journals we still receive in print, those frequently requested for scanning or loan, and titles we’re committed to retaining through our preservation networks. These will remain available on Level G.
