In this brief workshop we’ll use drawing as a way to understand what computer vision is and how it works. We’ll also discuss its ubiquity in current technology and the ways bias becomes calcified throughout these systems. Attendees will leave with some silly drawings and an introductory understanding of GAN and LoRA techniques as well as resources to continue exploring topics like data coloniality and small image generation workflows. This workshop is geared towards those less familiar with machine learning techniques but all levels of experience are welcome!
