Come learn about music engineering by building your own instrument. We’ll teach you the basics of how a panpipe makes sound and how to achieve different notes in a musical scale, and you’ll get to select your materials and build an instrument to play a tune of your choice. You can tailor your workshop experience to your interests by exploring different tuning systems, mouthpiece and assembly designs, methods of playing, or recording and analysis. This workshop is for everyone, whether you’re interested in music, engineering, or both!
