Git Drop-In Hour

Get one-on-one help using Git to track file versions and code. Come by for office hours-style help with installing Git, creating a repository, tracking changes, and writing commit messages.

Attending the previous File Management & Git workshop on Feb. 11 is recommended, but not required. 

Please bring a laptop.

Instructor:

  • Elizabeth McCall is the Research Data Librarian at Tisch Library. She works with researchers of all levels to help them manage and share their data. 
  • Kate Bronstad is the senior web developer for the Tufts Libraries. She has taught the basics of git & GitHub at library conferences, and uses git on a daily basis.

This workshop is part of Love Data Week and is co-sponsored by Tisch Library and the Economics Department. It is aimed at Economics undergraduate and graduate students working on research projects, but all are welcome.
