Experience a broad spectrum of human emotions and senses through books of all shapes, sizes and smells, through performative readings and unstructured playtime with SMFA’s artist book collection. SMFA Library’s Darin Murphy will join Kiana Ruth Beckmen, Post-Graduate Teaching Fellow and sometimes-book-artist, to present a selection of artists’ books to activate with your participation.
The performative segment will run 5:15-6 pm, from 6-7 pm attendees will be invited to read, play, and engage with more of the collection.
