The Story

Usually, our librarians and staff are the ones offering support to everyone but, this time, we need your assistance! Jumbo’s (travel) trunk has gone missing and he believes that someone at the library stole it. While we are not able to point fingers, you certainly can!

Jumbo brought his trunk with him to look for music scores at the Lilly Music Library on Monday, August 25. Next thing he knew, it was gone! Jumbo believes a librarian or library worker stole it, but why would they do such a thing?

He is in his senior year of the Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies program and he needs to complete his capstone project (a musical) in order to graduate in the spring. Unfortunately, he packed away the sheet music he composed over the summer in his trunk. If you can’t help him find it, Jumbo won’t be able to complete the 1st draft of his musical this fall!

The Rules

  • Each month, two tasks will be revealed on this page.
  • Complete each task to receive a clue. Correct responses will be entered in a special prize drawing!
  • You may complete these tasks on your own or in a team (which you’ll need a name for).
  • Once revealed, the tasks will be accessible all semester.
  • We will uncover the culprit on Thursday, Dec. 4th!
