As a spouse of a Tufts University faculty or staff member, you'll be able to borrow physical books, DVDs and CDs at Tisch Library and its branches.
Register for a spouse account
To register for library privileges, please bring a letter requesting your library privileges that's been signed by your faculty/staff spouse to the information desk at Tisch Library.
As a faculty spouse account holder, you can check out books and scores for 28 days, and DVDs and CDs for 14 days.
You are responsible for any items checked out using your library account; it is not recommended that you check out materials on someone else's behalf. We are happy to hold items for up to 48 hours if you need to come back with an ID.
Interlibrary loan and database access
Unfortunately, spousal library privileges don’t include Interlibrary Loan. Try contacting your local public library for access to their interlibrary loan services.
You won’t be able to access databases or other subscription content off campus. However, you may be able to access this content on-site from a library computer, depending on the licensing agreement we have with specific content providers.
