How do I get access from off-campus?

*updated for Fall 2020*

If you're away from campus, start from the Tisch Library website to access databases and online resources

All of our databases, online journals, and other online resources are available off campus.  To ensure that you aren't asked to pay for articles, always start your search from the Tisch Library website, using JumboSearch. Once you've located a resource using JumboSearch, you can click on the "Full Text" or "Online Access" button and you'll be prompted for your Tufts username and password.

Scan & Deliver

Our Interlibrary Loan and Scan & Deliver services provide digital scans of physical library materials, delivered to you electronically. This service is available to all current Tufts staff, students and faculty.

Problems logging into library resources using your Tufts username and password

If you have trouble logging into a resource from off-campus, check to make sure that you are using the correct username and password. Try logging into another Tufts website, such as Canvas, with your Tufts username and password.  If you can't log into other Tufts websites, your next step is to change your password.  Go to Tufts Tools, the Tufts self-service password reset website to reset your password.  If you're still having trouble, contact the IT Help Desk at 617-627-3376 or email it@tufts.edu.

If you're not currently affiliated with Tufts, your access off-campus is limited
