Seeking Submissions for the DDS Virtual Art Showcase

The Digital Design Studio (DDS) is once again hosting a virtual community art showcase!

Presentsight: A look at recent artwork made by Tufts community members

The idiom “hindsight is 20/20” takes on a new meaning in the wake of a year frequently called “unprecedented,” a word which signifies unforeseen. Not only will the public health, economic, racial and social crises—and the various responses to them—be seen more clearly as we put 2020 behind us, but the events of 2020 will stay in our rearview, grounding and shaping society and individual lives.

This showcase will include objects made by Tufts community members throughout the pandemic. Each object, intentionally or not, captures some view of (and from) the present in which it was made; together, this collection allows a glimpse of the Tufts community broadly during this time.We encourage you to submit to our gallery, whether or not you think of yourself as an artist, designer, or maker!

Open to current students, staff, and faculty from all Tufts schools. Anything made since late 2019 is welcome; it does not have to fit any particular theme. Images, video, audio, writing, 3D models, UX/UI projects and more can be submitted and will be displayed on our showcase site starting May 1st. Submissions are welcome now through May 17th and will be added on a rolling basis. Submit >>
