The Digital Design Studio at Tisch Library has an immediate need for talented part-time student assistants for the shifts listed below. Student job duties include: greeting and assisting patrons, providing basic technical support for multimedia production software (e.g., iMovie, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), managing reservation requests, digitizing media, and assisting in the production of large format prints. Student workers will be provided training and are encouraged to enhance their own multimedia skills while working in the DDS. Compensation is $12.50/hr.
Applicants should be enthusiastic about technology, provide excellent customer service, and be motivated to enhance their own multimedia and design skills. The DDS is a Macintosh-based lab, and it is imperative that applicants have experience with Mac-based multimedia applications (iMovie, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Audacity, etc.) and video production equipment (camcorders, mics, tripods, etc.).
