Welcome to the Library Exhibits and Displays webpage. We look forward to receiving requests and queries from the Tufts community about art and other displays you would like to exhibit. We offer various display location options, including The Tower Gallery, the main lobby (Level 2), other spaces on Level 2, and the lower level of the main stairwell (Level 1).
Exhibit displays are tied to programs or events sponsored by Tufts Departments, Centers, or official student organizations and are educational and timely. Please submit the exhibit display application to the Tisch Library Administration Office for review at least two weeks in advance of the desired display installation date. The library administration will review the application for approval and email you either a confirmation or a request for additional information. Display organizers are responsible for all of the materials, both primary and support - e.g. printed materials, easels, tables, etc. – as well as installation and removal of the work. The Library does not provide storage for materials and supplies. When you remove the display, please ensure that the area is returned to its original condition. Tisch Library is not responsible for the exhibit materials while they are on display. Publicity is the responsibility of the exhibit organizer. However, Tisch reserves the right to share information about the exhibit on our web site and any other relevant Tufts sites.
The Tower Gallery and Other Tisch Library Spaces
Tisch Library showcases student artwork of all media. The exhibitions organizer liaises with Museum School of Fine Arts faculty and students, Tufts Studio Arts faculty and students, and other Tufts community members to coordinate art exhibitions throughout the library, including The Tower Gallery, the main lobby (Level 2), other spaces on Level 2, and the lower level of the main stairwell (Level 1).
