Tisch Library is excited to announce our very first Food Drive this spring!
Members of the Tufts community are encouraged to bring donations to the Information and Circulation Desk of Tisch Library and the SMFA Library April 23rd through May 10th, 2024.
Donations to Tisch Library will go to support Jumbos Community Fridge. Guidelines to acceptable donations may be found here.
Donations to SMFA Library will go to support the SMFA Community Food Pantry. Non-expired, non-perishable food items will be accepted at this location.
Food for Fines
As an added incentive, students with fines on their library account will be able to use their food donation to pay down fines at the rate of $5 forgiven per box or can of food.
Donations may be used to pay down overdue fines AND lost item fines for items from Tisch, ILL, SMFA, and Lilly Music libraries. There is no limit to how much can be paid down with donations!
And please note: if you have lost item fines on your library account, you are still able to return or replace the item to have the fine waived! (Please reach out to the library before purchasing a replacement).
